Our Philosophy:
We believe that each individual has within them the capacity to reach their fullest potential. Often times we get sidetracked from our true purpose by illness, stress, and the demands of everyday life.

If you are one of the many individuals who find themselves stuck, frustrated, lacking joy, going through the motions, irritable, disconnected from others, anxious, coping in unhealthy ways, or suffering in other ways from issues related to stress and illness, we can guide you through the process of personal transformation by using multiple evidence-based techniques such as: relaxation, mindfulness (being in the here-and-now), cognitive-behavioral therapy where thoughts are challenged and target behaviors are changed, self-inquiry, psychoeducation, and working through the baggage of the past that holds you back from leading an authentic life, being present in the moment, and bringing the best version of yourself out into the world.

The process begins with a diagnostic intake session where you will meet with one of our clinical psychologists or advanced masters level therapists who have had specific training in diagnosis and assessment. Information will be gathered and, at times, psychological testing will be administered to determine if you have a diagnosable condition.

Your intake specialist will make recommendations based on the information they gather. If psychotherapy is warranted, we will try to find the very best therapist to meet your needs.

The decision to enter into therapy is not to be taken lightly. Psychotherapy is a commitment to yourself and to the process of transformation. You will be challenged to create change in your life and you will be supported in your efforts to do so. We require a weekly commitment to the process of psychotherapy, consistent with what research has shown to be most effective. Together, you and your therapist will develop a plan of action to create meaningful and sustainable changes in your life.

We use outcome measures to assess progress over time and we believe that your care should be a joint effort involving other specialists who are assisting you. We will communicate with those involved in your care, if you give us the permission to do so. However, we strongly believe that it is you who is the expert in your life and when given the right environment to reach your potential you will do so when you are ready.
