Renee received her B.A. in Psychology at Nazareth College of Rochester and is currently a doctoral candidate at the California Professional School of psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego.

Renee utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed, narrative approach to psychotherapy. The narrative approach to psychotherapy is self-directive and collaborative, allowing clients to be the leaders, creating depth in their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Individuals are able to develop and construct their own healing narratives, process traumatic experiences and move away from self-defeating patterns. In line with an empowerment framework, Renee aims to support and guide clients in building value-based, purposeful goals Renee tailors her therapy approach to best fit the needs of each client, drawing from various evidence-based treatment frameworks. Renee has experience working with individuals who struggle with mood disorders, personality disorders and those who have experienced trauma and struggle with addiction.

Additionally, Renee has specialized training in psychoeducational evaluations, school-based interventions for children with disabilities and/or in need of behavioral/emotional support. She has worked extensively in collaboration with various systems to support children and their families. Renee has significant experience supporting transitional aged youth and adults with ADHD and ASD.
