Brianna May is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) working towards obtaining her professional licensure (LPC). She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cedarville University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Scranton. Brianna is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Brianna has experience working with young adults at a local university counselor training center, co-facilitating group therapies, and working with adolescents and adults in an outpatient setting.
Brianna utilizes a person-centered approach and integrates aspects of reality therapy, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She also takes a holistic approach by implementing wellness to promote personal growth and overall wellbeing. Brianna’s approach when working with her clients is to develop a collaborative and empowering relationship emphasizing strengths, personal growth, and skill development to become the best version of themselves.
