Chelsea is a graduate clinical mental health counseling student at the University of Scranton working towards completing the internship portion of her degree. She earned a dual B.S degree in Counseling & Human Services and Psychology from the University of Scranton in 2022, with a minor in Spanish and a concentration in Life-Span development. Chelsea has experience working with children and college aged students in outpatient settings. She has interned at the Children’s Advocacy Center working with children who have experienced trauma as well as Marywood University’s Counseling and Student Development Center working with college students experiencing stressors. She has also completed training with college age individuals in the David W. Hall Counseling Training Center. Chelsea is able to work with both English and Spanish speaking clients.
As a counselor, Chelsea's goal is to empower her clients by fostering awareness, deepening understanding, and instilling hope. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that each person is on a unique journey. Chelsea strives to create a warm, genuine, and authentic atmosphere where clients feel supported and can work towards achieving their therapeutic goals. Chelsea enjoys working with children and adolescents.
