Cristina received her master’s degree in social work from Marywood University and her bachelor’s degree in social work and sociology from East Stroudsburg University.
Cristina has experience treating clients in a residential, outpatient, and inpatient settings with adolescents and adults and comes with years of experience in crisis, trauma, drug and alcohol, and an array of issues that impact both adolescents and adults. Cristina began practicing providing case management to adults in the community and hospital settings, group and individual counseling to adolescents in a residential and outpatient settings, and crisis intervention to adolescents and adults through residential and telephone support.
Cristina practices a holistic approach to psychotherapy, utilizing a dynamic and humanistic /existential approach to therapy grounded in the “person-in-environment” framework. Cristina is an eclectic social worker who focuses on inherent strengths, mindfulness, resiliency and motivation to bring about positive change.
