Dominick earned his master’s degree in clinical Psychology at Marywood University. As an undergraduate, he received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University. He is currently working to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Much of Dominick’s counseling experience comes from his graduate internship with the Luzerne Intermediate Unit of Kingston. As part of his internship, Dominick was as a mobile therapist and regularly saw children and adolescents in both home and school-based settings. Dominick has worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, personality, and developmental disorders.
In order to best help his clients, Dominick utilizes a humanistic, or person-centered, approach to therapy. This approach empowers the client to consider his or her personal identity, beliefs, and values when overcoming struggles with the counselor.
