JoAnne Donato-Popko is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in social work from Marywood College. JoAnne has over 30 years of experience providing therapy for adolescents, adults and couples who have experienced a variety of mental health, addiction and relationship issues. In addition to her clinical work, JoAnne has also been a clinical supervisor for an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program, as well as an adoption program supervisor.
JoAnne’s eclectic approach to therapy encompasses the use of trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and interpersonal interventions to provide the foundation of having a safe space, fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, as well as working toward accountability and change. JoAnne encourages and supports her clients to make healthy choices for themselves and in their relationships.
