Kate is a licensed professional counselor. She is from Northeast Pennsylvania. Kate completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Scranton. She also completed her bachelor’s degree at The University of Scranton in counseling and human services with a minor in psychology.
Kate has experience working with the homeless population and in an inpatient senior medical mental health unit. Her interests include working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Kate utilizes an integrative approach. She believes that it is important to collaboratively work with a person to find the best treatment based on their presenting concerns. She frequently utilizes workbooks so that clients have the resources to utilize the skills they are taught outside of sessions.
