Katie is a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her bachelor's degree in counseling psychology from Mansfield University. She then received her master's degree in social work from Marywood University.
Katie has worked with diverse populations and conducted outpatient services with children, adolescents, and adults within a community mental health agency. Katie has a multitude of experience working within the community such as school counseling/advocacy, and integrative care with primary doctors in the area. Katie sees clients virtually from the Scranton/Dunmore area, and in-person and virtual for the Philadelphia area.
Katie utilizes an eclectic approach based on her client’s needs such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Attachment based therapy, Reality therapy, and Emotion-Focus therapy (EFT). Katie believes in helping people find the best person they can be through insight, and guiding clients to foster their strengths with these therapeutic approaches.
