Mackenzie is a graduate clinical mental health student enrolled at Marywood University and working to complete the internship portion of her degree. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from Misericordia University in 2021. Mackenzie has previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based outpatient setting.
Her approach, through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy aspects, is to build understanding and strengthen the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with a somatic integration that intertwines the mind-body connection. Mackenzie’s biggest belief when it comes to the counseling relationship is upholding authenticity and cultivating a safe environment for exploration, depth, and discovery.
