Dr. Thomas E. (Tom) Di Matteo is a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and a licensed professional counselor (LPC). He completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Scranton, master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Syracuse University, and doctorate in educational leadership (gerontology) from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Di Matteo is a retired US Army Reserve officer and has over 50 years’ experience as a clinician, educator/trainer, and drug and alcohol administrator, much of which has been in the greater Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.
Dr. Di Matteo provides services from an eclectic approach which includes cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, and transactional-analytic orientations.
