Yvelisse is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) from the Northeast PA region, who completed her Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Scranton. Yvelisse also completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration and minor in Psychology, from the City University of New York, Baruch College. She is currently working towards obtaining her state license (LPC). Yvelisse has experience working with families, adolescents, adults, with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in the Wilkes Barre district office. She also has experience working with former community counseling organizations in the Berks County area of PA.
Yvelisse’ s concentration is working with trauma survivors, the LGBTQ community, PTSD, Veterans, the aging population, victims of sextual assault, self-esteem, bipolar disorders, depression and adjustment disorders. Yvelisse’ s approach to treatment starts with a person-centered therapy approach, getting to know her clients and building a healthy client-therapist relationship.
